Prerequisites
• Candidates must hold a private license prior to commencing the VFR OTT rating.

Note: Flight training times specified are based on Transport Canada minimums and more training may be required.

• Course consists of 10 hours dual instrument training (must have a total of 15 hours instrument
training to obtain the rating including time obtained on private license and/or night rating)
• Requirements for the VFR-Over-The-Top rating will be less if the student has a night rating..
